The Biggest Reward of All

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Jesus Christ (Yeshua Hamashiah), who is the Bridegroom of our souls, wants me to share with you a message about the importance of spiritual love in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Not many believers think about His Kingdom. They only focus on one thing: to have salvation. They do not care what the Kingdom of Heaven is about and do not have an interest in finding out what it can offer to them. When some people are confronted with a question about Heaven, they answer, “Let me just get there.”

But the Lord wants to offer His people much more.

Some expect rewards for their work and ministry for God. Yes, those who work hard for the Lord will not lose their reward. However, when the children of God only desire heavenly mansions and heavenly treasures, they miss the most important things in their lives. These heavenly treasures are only a small reflection of His love, which He wants to give to His people. They are not able to give the fullness of His love to His people. The greatest reward that a person can receive in heaven is the fullness of His love in his heart, which can be obtained through intimate fellowship with Him.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.” (John 13:34-35 WEB)
The glory which you have given me, I have given to them; that they may be one, even as we are one; I in them, and you in me, that they may be perfected into one; that the world may know that you sent me, and loved them, even as you loved me. Father, I desire that they also whom you have given me be with me where I am, that they may see my glory, which you have given me, for you loved me before the foundation of the world. Righteous Father, the world hasn’t known you, but I knew you; and these knew that you sent me. I made known to them your name, and will make it known; that the love with which you loved me may be in them, and I in them.” (John 17:22-26 WEB)

Every day in each of our lives is a blessed opportunity to mature in a spiritual love (agape). We are the vessels of the Lord. He wants to reveal Himself through us, through our spiritual love (agape). However, if our vessels are shallow, or even worse, full of holes, we cannot be completely filled with the revelation of His love. He wants us to expand our hearts to accept His love, which is as big and deep as the ocean. Our real reward in heaven will be measured neither by our works nor ministries, but by our love for Him, as well as our trust and faith in Him. Love and faith go together and grow together in our hearts.

Satan knows the power of spiritual love (agape); therefore, he destroys true love in our society, in the family, and in schools, and he destroys people’s faith and trust in God. Satan replaces spiritual love (agape) with lust, self-love, materialism, love of money, and pride.

Dear reader, if you want to please God in your life, then love God and each other with the spiritual love (agape) that comes from above, and you will receive the highest reward in the world: an endless revelation of His love in your heart.

Do not settle for anything less. We are not able to earn our happiness in heaven. However, we can grow in love for our Savior and each other. Do not rob yourself with worldly affairs that are displeasing to the Lord. Do not waste your time; prepare your heart for your Bridegroom.
